During the last summer seasons Montenegro became a 'high-quality Majorca' destination by affordable prices for european tourists.

The coast of Montenegro is 295 km long, with 72 km of beaches, and with many well-preserved ancient old towns.

The main attraction is the spectacular Gulf of Kotor, the longest fjord in southern Europe where the Adriatic Sea cuts deep in mountains, with the ancient small town of Perast. You can also find long and sandy beaches around the popular resorts of Budva and Ulcinj.

The country is small (13,812 km²) and all locations can be reached by car relatively quickly. The landscape, however, offers a huge variety: High rugged mountains and

Montengro has over 40 lakes, and 80% of the mmontengrin territory is comprised of forests, natural pasturelands and meadows. Over 2800 plant species and subspecies are growing on the mere which is 0.14 % of the total surface area of Europe and belongs to Montenegro. This statistic accunts almost a quarter of the European flora.

The vegetation also varies with altitude.
